You are decreasing overall cartridge length, which equates to less velocity at the muzzle and less energy, as well as less recoil. A lot of people prefer the .380 due to ease of use racking the slide over a 9mm, as the springs are lighter.Leads me to believe that the Striker being sold by Sig IS applicable to ALL P365's no matter the Age or Version. With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. SAF-T-BLOK makes plastic inserts for Glocks that sit behind the trigger which you must push out with your trigger finger before you can pull the trigger. Although I prefer a hammer-fired pistol, I have an appreciation for the striker-fired pistol. I find the P365 to be a smooth, clean breaking trigger with a nice reset.
